Who to Expect

Here at Word of Faith, you'll find people from all walks of life who are unified under the Name above all names, Jesus Christ. There's no big "I's" or little "you's" just people who love God and who love you too!

What We Believe

Word of Faith is the place where Jesus is Lord and you'll never be bored! Christ has given us the gift of our Pastor, Rodney Pearson, to help mature the saints for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12, KJV). Through the spoken Word of God, get ready to receive teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness, so that you can be fully equipped for what God has for you (2 Timothy 3:16-17, KJV).

What to expect

At Word of Faith - San Antonio it's a privilege to be able to give others the opportunity to see God more clearly. From the moment you set foot on our campus, you can expect...

A LOVING WELCOME

From every smile, hug, and kind gesture, God is working in and through us to show you how much He cares. Romans 5:5 tells us that "...the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us" (KJV). That's why we purpose to express His Love to His people with every welcome.

TRUTH

Truth is the bedrock of Christian faith, and God tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing His Word (Romans 10:17, KJV). So whether you're attending a service or fellowship, or any other event for that matter, expect to learn more about God's Word than you ever have before!

WORSHIP

As compared to all of God's creation, we've been set apart to give God the value and worth that is due to His name. Get ready to experience God's Presence like never before! We yield to Him and allow The Holy Spirit to minister unto us as He wills.

FELLOWSHIP

Through His blood, we've all been brought under the unity of Christ! So it comes as no surprise that our congregation is made up of people of varying ages, occupations, and cultural backgrounds. Expect to encounter believers who love God and who are excited to experience God's quality of life alongside you.

ATTIRE

We encourage you to come as you are. You'll see some in suits & ties and others in blue jeans & T-shirts. Even though they may look different, they've come for the same thing: more of God. Like the Word says, "...And let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires take the water of life without price" (Revelation 22:17, KJV).

Do you or someone you know want to come to church but doesn't have transportation? 
WOFSA will gladly send a vehicle to your home or apartment complex to bring you to enjoy the service then return you to your home! 

here's what you do...

Step #1: 
  • Call the Church Office at 210.785.9238
Step #2:
  • Tell the Person That You Want to Be Included on the VIP Transportation 
  • If the Answering Machine is Reached, Leave a Message. Provide All the Information Requested in Step #3. You Will Be Placed on the List. (No Confirming Call Will Be Made.) 
Step #3: 
  • Provide the Following Info: 
    • Name 
    • Address (including Zip Code) 
    • Contact & Alternate Contact Phone Number 
    • Number of People to Be Picked Up (Example: 1 Adult & 2 Children) 
    • Service You Desire to Attend 
Step #4: 
  • On the Day of the Service, Be Ready to Receive the call and Be Picked Up 

here's what We'll do...

  •  Send a Vehicle to Pick You Up for the Service Requested.
    • If At a House: In Front of House. 
    • If At an Apartment Complex: At Leasing Office/Visitor Center 
  • Provide a Courtesy Call to Let You Know We're on Our Way. (Approximately 5-10 Minutes Away) 
  • Bring You Home After Service Ends. (Vehicle Leaves Approximately 15 Minutes After the Close of Service) 

To get on the list, call by: 

  • Tuesday for Wednesday Service 
  • Wednesday for Thursday Service 
  • Thursday for Friday Evening Fellowships
  • Friday for Saturday Services/Classes 
  • Saturday for Sunday Services 

VIP transportation ministry is available to serve you for the following services, classes & fellowships: 

  • All Sunday Services: 8 am, 11 am & 6 pm 
  • Wednesday Mid-Day Midweek Service
